1TSKCOMAbout this time, Hezekiah got sick and was almost dead. Isaiah the prophet went in and told him, “The Lord says you won't ever get well. You are going to die, so you had better start doing what needs to be done.”
1TSKCOMIn those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2TSKCOMThen Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the L ord , saying,
2TSKCOMHezekiah turned toward the wall and prayed,
2TSKCOMThen he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,
2TSKCOMThen he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to Yahweh, saying,
2TSKCOMThen he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Jehovah, saying,
2TSKCOMAppol hiskeeyaavu mukham chuvarinre nere thirichu yahovayotu praarthichu:
3TSKCOM“Please, O L ord , remember now [with compassion] how I have walked before You in faithfulness and truth and with a whole heart [entirely devoted to You], and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
3TSKCOM“Don't forget that I have been faithful to you, Lord . I have obeyed you with all my heart, and I do whatever you say is right.” After this, he cried bitterly.
3TSKCOMI beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
3TSKCOM“Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
3TSKCOMRemember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

4TSKCOMBefore Isaiah had gone out of the middle courtyard, the word of the L ord came to him, saying,
4TSKCOMBefore Isaiah got to the middle court of the palace,
4TSKCOMAnd it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
4TSKCOMBefore Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, Yahweh’s word came to him, saying,
4TSKCOMAnd it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,

5TSKCOM“Go back and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the L ord , the God of David your father (ancestor): “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. Behold, I am healing you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the L ord .
5TSKCOMthe Lord sent him back to Hezekiah with this message: Hezekiah, you are the ruler of my people, and I am the Lord God, who was worshiped by your ancestor David. I heard you pray, and I saw you cry. I will heal you, so that three days from now you will be able to worship in my temple.
5TSKCOMTurn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
5TSKCOM“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.

6TSKCOMI will add fifteen years to your life and save you and this city [Jerusalem] from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will protect this city for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.” ’ ”
6TSKCOMI will let you live 15 years more, while I protect you and your city from the king of Assyria. I will defend this city as an honor to me and to my servant David.
6TSKCOMAnd I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

6TSKCOMAnd I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David`s sake.

7TSKCOMThen Isaiah said, “Bring a cake of figs. And they brought it and placed it on the [painful] inflammation, and he recovered.”
7TSKCOMThen Isaiah said to the king's servants, “Bring some mashed figs and place them on the king's open sore. He will then get well.”
7TSKCOMAnd Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
7TSKCOMIsaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
7TSKCOMAnd Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

8TSKCOMHezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the L ord will [completely] heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the L ord on the third day?”
8TSKCOMHezekiah asked Isaiah, “Can you prove that the Lord will heal me, so that I can worship in his temple in three days?”
8TSKCOMAnd Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?
8TSKCOMHezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I will go up to Yahweh’s house the third day?”
8TSKCOMAnd Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Jehovah will heal me, and that I shall go up unto the house of Jehovah the third day?

9TSKCOMIsaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from the L ord , that He will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow [indicating the time of day] go forward ten steps, or go backward ten steps?”
9TSKCOMIsaiah replied, “The Lord will prove to you that he will keep his promise. Will the shadow made by the setting sun on the stairway go forward ten steps or back ten steps?”
9TSKCOMAnd Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
9TSKCOMIsaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”
9TSKCOMAnd Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?
9TSKCOMAthinnu yeshayyaavu: yahova arulicheytha kaaryam nivarthikkumennullathinnu yahovayingkalninnu ithu ninakku atayaalam aakum: nizhal pathu pati mumpota pokenamo? pathu pati pinnokkam thiriyenamo ennu chodichu.
10TSKCOMHezekiah answered, “It is easy for the shadow to go forward ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps.”
10TSKCOM“It's normal for the sun to go forward,” Hezekiah answered. “But how can it go back?”
10TSKCOMAnd Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
10TSKCOMHezekiah answered, “It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. No, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.”
10TSKCOMAnd Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.
10TSKCOMAthinnu hiskeeyaavu: nizhal pathu pati irangippokunnathu eluppam aakunnu; anganeyalla, nizhal pathupati pinnokkam thiriyatte ennu paranjnju.
11TSKCOMSo Isaiah the prophet called out to the L ord , and He brought the shadow on the steps ten steps backward by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.
11TSKCOMIsaiah prayed, and the Lord made the shadow go back ten steps on the stairway built for King Ahaz.
11TSKCOMAnd Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
11TSKCOMIsaiah the prophet cried to Yahweh; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.
11TSKCOMAnd Isaiah the prophet cried unto Jehovah; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.

12TSKCOMAt that time Berodach-baladan a son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. [Is 39:1-8]

13TSKCOMHezekiah listened to and welcomed them and [ foolishly] showed them all his treasure house—the silver and gold and spices and precious oil and his armory and everything that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house (palace) nor in all his realm that Hezekiah did not show them.
13TSKCOMHezekiah welcomed the messengers and showed them all the silver, the gold, the spices, and the fine oils that were in his storehouse. He even showed them where he kept his weapons. Nothing in his palace or in his entire kingdom was kept hidden from them.
13TSKCOMAnd Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
