1TSKCOMIn the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
1TSKCOMIn the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, even to me, Daniel, after that which appeared to me at the first.
1TSKCOMIn the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me, Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
1TSKCOMDaaneeyel enna enikku aadiyil undaayathinre shesham, belshassarraajaavinre vaazhchayute moonnaam aantil oru darshanam undaayi.
2TSKCOMAnd I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
2TSKCOMI saw the vision. Now it was so, that when I saw, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
2TSKCOMAnd I saw in the vision; now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.
2TSKCOMNjaan oru darshanam kantu, elaam samsthaanathile shooshan raajadhaaniyil aayirunnappol athu kantu; njaan oolaayi nadeetheerathu nilkkunnathaayi darshanathil kantu.
3TSKCOMThen I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
3TSKCOMThen I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns. The two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
3TSKCOMThen I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
3TSKCOMNjaan thalapokkiyappol, rantu kompulla oru aattukorran nadeetheerathu nilkkunnathu kantu; aa kompukal neendavayaayirunnu; onnu marrethinekkaal adhikam neendathu; adhikam neendathu otukkam mulechuvannathaayirunnu.
4TSKCOMI saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
4TSKCOMI saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward. No animals could stand before him. There wasn’t any who could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.
4TSKCOMI saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; and no beasts could stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and magnified himself.
4TSKCOMAa aattukorran patinjnjaarottum vatakkottum thekkottum itikkunnathu njaan kantu; oru mrigathinnum athinre mumpaake nilpaan kazhinjnjilla; athinre kayyilninnu rakshikkaakunnavanum aarumilla; athu ishtampole cheythu vampu kaattipponnu.
5TSKCOMAnd as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
5TSKCOMAs I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west over the surface of the whole earth, and didn’t touch the ground. The goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
5TSKCOMAnd as I was considering, behold, a he-goat came from the west over the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
5TSKCOMNjaan nokkikkontirikkumpol, oru kolaattukorran patinjnjaaru ninnu nilam thotaathe sarvva bhoothalathilum kootivannu; aa kolaattukorrannu kannukalute natuvil visheshamaayoru kompundaayirunnu.
6TSKCOMAnd he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
6TSKCOMHe came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran on him in the fury of his power.
6TSKCOMAnd he came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran upon him in the fury of his power.
6TSKCOMAthu nadeetheerathu nilkkunnathaayi njaan kanda rantu kompulla aattukorranre nere ugrakrodhathote paanjnju chennu.
7TSKCOMAnd I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
7TSKCOMI saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground, and trampled on him. There was no one who could deliver the ram out of his hand.
7TSKCOMAnd I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns; and there was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground, and trampled upon him; and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
7TSKCOMAthu aattukorranotu atukkunnathu njaan kantu; athu aattukorranotu krudhichu, athine itichu athinre kompu rantum thakarthukalanjnju; athinre mumpil nilpaan aattukorrannu shakthiyillaatheyirunnu; athu athine nilathu thalliyittu chavittikkalanjnju; athinre kayyilninnu aattukorrane rakshippaan aarum undaayirunnilla.
8TSKCOMTherefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
8TSKCOMThe male goat magnified himself exceedingly. When he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable horns toward the four winds of the sky.
8TSKCOMAnd the he-goat magnified himself exceedingly: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable [horns] toward the four winds of heaven.
8TSKCOMKolaattukorran erravum valuthaayitheernnu; ennaal athu balappettappol valiya kompu thakarnnupoyi; athinnu pakaram aakaashathile naalu kaarrinnu nere bhamgiyulla naalu kompu mulechuvannu.
9TSKCOMAnd out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
9TSKCOMOut of one of them came out a little horn, which grew exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious land.
9TSKCOMAnd out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious [land].
9TSKCOMAvayil onnilninnu oru cheriya kompu purappettu; athu thekkottum kizhakkottum manoharadeshathinnu nereyum erravum valuthaayitheernnu.
10TSKCOMAnd it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
10TSKCOMIt grew great, even to the army of the sky; and it cast down some of the army and of the stars to the ground, and trampled on them.
10TSKCOMAnd it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and some of the host and of the stars it cast down to the ground, and trampled upon them.
10TSKCOMAthu aakaashathile sainyatholam valuthaayitheernnu, sainyathilum nakshathrangalilum chilathine nilathu thalliyittu chavittikkalanjnju.
11TSKCOMYea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
11TSKCOMYes, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the army; and it took away from him the continual burnt offering, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
11TSKCOMYea, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the host; and it took away from him the continual [burnt-offering], and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
11TSKCOMAthu sainyathinte adhipathiyolam thannethaan valuthaakki, avannulla nirantharahomayaagam apaharikkayum avanre vishudhamandiram itichukalakayum cheythu.
12TSKCOMAnd an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
12TSKCOMThe army was given over to it together with the continual burnt offering through disobedience. It cast down truth to the ground, and it did its pleasure and prospered.
12TSKCOMAnd the host was given over [to it] together with the continual [burnt-offering] through transgression; and it cast down truth to the ground, and it did [its pleasure] and prospered.
12TSKCOMAthikramam hethuvaayi nirantharahomayaagathinnethiraayi oru seva niyamikkappetum; athu sathyathe nilathu thalliyitukayum kaaryam natathi saadhippikkayum cheyyum.
13TSKCOMThen I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
13TSKCOMThen I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, “How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?”
13TSKCOMThen I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spake, How long shall be the vision [concerning] the continual [burnt-offering], and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
13TSKCOMAnantharam oru vishudhan samsaarikkunnathu njaan kettu; samsaarichukontirunna vishudhanotu marroru vishudhan: vishudhamandiratheyum sevayeyum chavittikkalayendathinnu elpichukotuppaan thakkavannam nirantharahomayaagatheyum shoonyamaakkunna athikramatheyum kurichu darshanathil kantirikkunnathu ethratholam nilkkum ennu chodichu.
14TSKCOMAnd he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
14TSKCOMHe said to me, “To two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary will be cleansed.”
14TSKCOMAnd he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings [and] mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
14TSKCOMAthinnu avan avanotu: randaayirathimunnooru sandhyayum ushassum thikayuvolam thanne; pinne vishudhamandiram yathaasthaanappetum.
15TSKCOMAnd it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
15TSKCOMWhen I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. Then behold, there stood before me something like the appearance of a man.
15TSKCOMAnd it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
15TSKCOMEnnaal daaneeyelenna njaan ee darshanam kantittu artham aalochichukontirikkumpol oru purusharoopam enre mumpil nilkkunnathu kantu.
16TSKCOMAnd I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
16TSKCOMI heard a man’s voice between the banks of the Ulai, which called, and said, “Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.”
16TSKCOMAnd I heard a man`s voice between [the banks of] the Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
16TSKCOMGabreeyele, ivannu ee darshanam grahippichukotukka ennu oolaayitheerathuninnu vilichuparayunna oru manushyanre shabdam njaan kettu.
17TSKCOMSo he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
17TSKCOMSo he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man; for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”
17TSKCOMSo he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.
17TSKCOMAppol njaan ninnetathu avan atuthuvannu; avan vannappol njaan bhayappettu saashtaamgam veenu; ennaal avan ennotu: manushyaputhraa, grahichukolka; ee darshanam anthyakaalathekkullathaakunnu ennu paranjnju.
18TSKCOMNow as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
18TSKCOMNow as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me, and set me upright.
18TSKCOMNow as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me, and set me upright.
18TSKCOMAvan ennotu samsaarichukontirikkumpol njaan bodhamkettu nilathu kavinnu veenu; avan enne thottu ezhunnelpichu nirthi.
19TSKCOMAnd he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
19TSKCOMHe said, “Behold, I will make you know what will be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongs to the appointed time of the end.
19TSKCOMAnd he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongeth to the appointed time of the end.
19TSKCOMPinne avan paranjnjathu: kopathinte anthyakaalathingkal sambhavippaanirikkunnathu njaan ninne grahippikkum; athu anthyakaalathekkullathallo.
20TSKCOMThe ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
20TSKCOMThe ram which you saw, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Media and Persia.
20TSKCOMThe ram which thou sawest, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Media and Persia.
20TSKCOMRantukompullathaayi nee kanda aattukorran paarsya raajaakkanmaare kurikkunnu.
21TSKCOMAnd the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
21TSKCOMThe rough male goat is the king of Greece. The great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
21TSKCOMAnd the rough he-goat is the king of Greece: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
21TSKCOMParuparutha kolaattukorran yavanaraajaavum athinre kannukalute natuvilulla valiya kompu onnaamathe raajaavum aakunnu.
22TSKCOMNow that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
22TSKCOMAs for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms will stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.
22TSKCOMAnd as for that which was broken, in the place whereof four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.
22TSKCOMAthu thakarnna shesham athinnu pakaram naalu kompu mulechatho: naalu raajyam aa jaathiyilninnuthbhavikkum; athinre shakthiyote allathaanum.
23TSKCOMAnd in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
23TSKCOM“In the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce face, and understanding dark sentences, will stand up.
